Reviewer Guidelines

Reviewers play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and quality of published research. The following guidelines are intended to help reviewers fulfill their responsibilities effectively and professionally.

Scope and Suitability

Upon receiving a manuscript, reviewers should assess whether the content aligns with their area of expertise. If the subject matter is outside their scope, they should promptly inform the editorial team.

Plagiarism and Originality

Reviewers must ensure that the manuscript is original, free from plagiarism, and not previously published elsewhere. They should verify that the study’s findings are novel and relevant to the journal's scope.

Timeliness

Reviews must be completed within the timeframe specified by the editorial team. If a delay is anticipated, the reviewer must immediately inform the editor so alternative arrangements can be made.

Confidentiality

All materials submitted for review are confidential. Reviewers must not share, distribute, or discuss the manuscript or its content with anyone outside the editorial process.

Constructive Feedback

Reviewer comments should be:

  • Clear, concise, and well-structured.
  • Balanced—highlighting both strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Objective and focused on the content, not the author(s).
  • Free from offensive, biased, or discriminatory language.
  • Helpful to both the authors and the editors in improving the manuscript.
Conflict of Interest

If a reviewer identifies any potential conflict of interest—personal, professional, or financial—related to the manuscript, they must disclose this to the editor before proceeding with the review.

By adhering to these principles, reviewers help uphold the journal’s standards and contribute meaningfully to the scientific community.
